We succeeded in rowing over 300 miles in 10 days; we faced many challenges (see the blog section for some notes on the trip). And many people supported our efforts. Now we are moving into a different phase of the journey. Next year, we hope to engage the High School rowing teams along the canal. But we will need your help to keep the program going.

Our initial goal is to raise $100,000. But our desire is to raise much more to sustain the program for the future and expand its horzons. There are a number of ways you can help.

1. Become an event Sponsor.
A $2500.00 commitment will help us make this an annual event. Lots of folks have asked to row in this event. But it requires time and expense to run it. There will be banners, press opportunities, etc at this and future row4life events. Help us make this a premier event with your sponsorship.

2. Write a check

3. A buck a mile
We hope to be tracked by the NYS Canal Corporation and the US Coast Guard. But our position will also be verified by lock crossing. (the lock master needs to be notified to open each lock. At $1 per mile per individual donor, we only need 333 donors. Of course, you can donate any amount you like. Use this handy form and pay by major credit card.

4. Buy a T-shirt
We never went to a regatta that didn't offer T-shirts. We've had ours made of top-quality, pre-shrunk cotton. The logo (pictured below) is 12" wide and covers the back of the shirt. On the front is the Commenorative inscription "Canal Row 2007. You can get it in s, m, l and xl sizes in any color you want - as long as it's white. (Actually, if you want to special order it in another color, you can - but the image looks better in white). Use the comment box on the home page of this site and we'll discuss it. 100% of the profits will be donated, of course.
